Making an Engine Cart

Now I can focus on the engine cart. I know the engine has a perfect 13 inch square bolt pattern. I'm using 4 x 6 inch timbers for the engine mount and I want to be sure I drill the 1/2 inch mounting holes for the anchor bolts EXACTLY right.

I made a jig made out of 2 x 3 inch lumber to hold the timbers exactly 13 inches apart on centers. I decided to mount the engine dead center on the cart which is 5 feet long with 3 feet wide crossmembers and drilled the 1/2 inch mounting holes accordingly. I finally added the 5 inch steel casters and finished the cart.
