The 6/1 comes alive in Pennsylvania

OK, big day is here. My friend Denny and neighbor John come over to help me roll the engine out. After priming the fuel system through the filter then the pump, finally at the injector, I gave her a good spin, released the exhaust valve lifter and off she went. Got right up to governor speed of something that sounded like 600 - 700 rpm. Ran her for 3 hours today looking for signs of trouble. I was right about the water outlet - water kept sloshing out of the drum, so I kept adding it to keep the thermal syphoning working.

After shutting her down I found some problems:

1. Fuel leak at the tank of about 1 milliliter, mL/hour
2. Fuel leak at filter of about 0.25 mL/hour

I slowed those leaks down by tightening down on the hose clamps on the hose barbs but couldn't stop them completely. I'll look for some other source of leak. That plastic tank fitting looks like it's going to have to go.

Otherwise, an OK for prototype #1
